I completed my studies in geosciences at the universities in Hamburg (UHH) and Amsterdam (VU). Subsequently, I decided to focus more on environmental technology aspects and sustainable energy systems, and I pursued a degree in environmental engineering with a specialization in geothermal energy systems. Since 2022, I have been working as a PhD student at the Fraunhofer Institute for Energy Infrastructures and Geothermal Energy, primarily focusing on underground CO2 storage and the associated rock-fluid interactions. In this context, I conduct both experimental work and geochemical simulations.
