or our customers in the energy industry, we develop methods and tools for cross-sector analysis and planning of integrated energy infrastructures, from neighborhoods to transport networks. This includes technologies and concepts for next-generation heating and cooling networks, heat and cold storage, and the development and characterization of heat sources.  

We are further developing high-temperature heat pumps for both the manufacturing industry and the energy sector and demonstrating their use in various applications, such as process heat or district heating generation. For the operational management of energy systems, we develop technologies and processes for monitoring, control, regulation, automation, and operational optimization.

We develop solutions for geothermal heat supply for industrial systems as well as for real estate and the property industry. Our expertise includes both near-surface and deep geothermal energy and the use of abandoned mines for heat storage.
