Science communication

With its application-oriented research, Fraunhofer IEG works at the interface between science and society. The transfer of knowledge from the academic world to the public paves the way for technologies to reach the market. In doing so, it is important to take into account the respective special features of the technology fields in the communication concepts: The communicative toolbox for research projects ranges from communication among experts to media contacts to dialogue with civil society, from technical articles to press releases to mailings. Depending on the project phase, the focus is on knowledge transfer, milestone communication or, for example, social dialogue. As part of the global scientific community and the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, Fraunhofer IEG is committed to research excellence and significantly advances the state of knowledge and technology.
