Fraunhofer Research Institution for Energy Infrastructures and Geotechnologies IEGAfter completing my master's degree in sedimentology at the Ruhr University Bochum, I am a doctoral student at the Fraunhofer IEG in the field of reservoir geology. My expertise lies in the field of sedimentology, petrography and karstification of carbonates with regard to geothermal exploration. I investigate the properties of reservoir rocks using a variety of methodological approaches, consisting of experimental setups and microscopic analysis methods. I am particularly interested in karstification and the associated diagenetic interactions and fluid permeability.
