Dr.-Ing. Judith Stute

Research Associate

Judith Stute is a research associate at Fraunhofer IEG in the Competence Center Integrated Energy Infrastructures. Since joining Fraunhofer in 2018 at the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research ISI and after moving to Fraunhofer IEG in 2020, she has been working on numerous research projects focusing on load-side flexibility of households, tertiary and industry sector and its effects on decentralized electricity systems. She combines techno-socio-economic modeling at consumer and power grid level with regulatory analyses. She studied Renewable Energy Technology (B. Sc.) at Chemnitz University of Technology and Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Electrical Power Engineering at RWTH Aachen University (M. Sc.) and completed her doctorate on “Techno-socio-economic analysis of the impact of dynamic electricity price components on households and low-voltage grids in Germany” at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology KIT in 2024.
